INTERIOR DESIGN STUDIO
One partner for your whole renovation, delivered to German standards. Customised furniture and premium interiors, from concept to the last detail.
THE TRANSFORMATION
From dark and dated to warm and light.
Most of our clients inherit interiors built for another era. Dark wood, closed rooms, cold tile.

THE HIDDEN DIFFERENCE
Every Helmrich piece can carry its own light: warm LED lines routed into shelves and plinths, touch sensors hidden in the grain, scenes that follow your evening.

What clients say when it’s
finally done right.
“Richard managed our full house renovation while we were living abroad, and the project was handled with great professionalism throughout. As an architect, I completed the initial design of the house, which Richard followed precisely, while also enhancing it with his excellent eye for interior design and detailing.”

Architect · ERICEIRA“We are so happy with the result. The whole process was stress free, at one point we were even a week ahead of schedule. Richard is precise, reliable, always available, and gathered a great team around him - both locals and foreigners. He is also supported by his large family business in Germany, where all products are made and shipped to Portugal.”
Chris & Lily J.
Family · ERICEIRA“Really happy with how our collaboration went with Helmrichs Interior Design! Richard made everything so easy - communication was smooth, the installation came in on time and on budget, and he was super helpful throughout the whole process. My client was very happy with the result. Definitely looking forward to working together again on future projects!”

COMMERCIAL · LISBONThe questions every
client asks first.
-
Yes, everything happens in English. Consultations, proposals, contracts, WhatsApp updates. Most of our clients are American, English, Portuguese or Dutch families, and we also speak German and Portuguese for everyone else on site.
-
The installation date in your proposal is the date we hand over.Termintreue, keeping dates, is the German habit we refuse to drop. We build buffer into the plan, not into your patience, and you see progress photos every week.
-
Our home turf is the greater Lisbon Area, from Cascais, Estoril, Parede, Carcavelos, Oeiras, Lisbon and even Caparica, with regular projects in Ericeira (our Mafra workshop is nearby).
Somewhere else on the coast? Ask, for the right project we travel.
