The questions every client asks first.
FAQs
-
Yes, everything happens in English. Consultations, proposals, contracts, WhatsApp updates. Most of our clients are American, English, Portuguese or Dutch families, and we also speak German and Portuguese for everyone else on site.
-
The installation date in your proposal is the date we hand over.Termintreue, keeping dates, is the German habit we refuse to drop. We build buffer into the plan, not into your patience, and you see progress photos every week.
-
Our home turf is Parede, Carcavelos and Cascais, with regular projects in Ericeira (our Mafra workshop is nearby) and Lisbon. Somewhere else on the coast? Ask, for the right project we travel.
-
Yes, and it's often the smart moment to involve us. We can view a property before you buy and give you an honest assessment of what a renovation would realistically involve - cost, time, and what's possible
-
Both, chosen for the job. Cabinetry and joinery are engineered in our German workshop to industrial tolerances; stone, tile and finishes are sourced from trusted Portuguese and European suppliers. You get German precision where it matters most and local character where it belongs.
-
As much or as little as you like. Some clients want a weekly call and every decision; others hand us the keys and travel. Either way you deal with one person, get regular updates you can actually understand, and never have to chase five different trades yourself.
-
Yes. Many coastal homes have original details worth keeping and as trained furniture makers, restoring or recreating them is second nature. We can blend new work seamlessly with the old, so a renovation feels considered, not stripped-out.
-
From a single customer furniture piece or a built-in wardrobe to a full-home renovation. There's no minimum that you need to full fill, just send us your ideas, we are glad to do it, whether it's one room or the whole house.

The earlier the better. Good work gets booked ahead, and involving us early means better decisions and no rushing the last ten percent. If you have a move-in date or a season in mind, tell us, and we'll be honest about what's realistic.
Tell us about your project.
We'll tell you exactly how we'd transform it.
A site visit at our workshop costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Worst case, you get an honest second opinion from an expert.
