The 1970’s Villa
FULL RENOVATION · ACHADA, ERICEIRA · 7 MONTHS
THE BRIEF
The owners inherited an interior built from another era. Dark wood, closed rooms, cold tile. They wanted light, flow, and a kitchen that could host half the neighbourhood.
THE WORK
Kitchen, joinery, lighting and flooring from one contract. Walls opened, oak fitted, every cable and hinge planned before the first tile came up.
Estremoz marble on walnut, scribed to an uneven 1970s wall.

★★★★★
“Richard managed our full house renovation while we were living abroad, and the project was handled with great professionalism throughout. As an architect, I completed the initial design of the house, which Richard followed precisely, while also enhancing it with his excellent eye for interior design and detailing.”
