THE BRIEF
When the client showed us their house in Ericeira before the project started, the feeling was always the same. Dark corridors, outdated design, rooms that felt closed off and disconnected. A beautiful house on paper that somehow never felt like theirs.
THE WORK
So we reimagined all of it. We broke through walls to open up the space and let the light move freely, laid new floors throughout, and finished the ceilings with clean stucco profiles. We built a completely new kitchen, added a fireplace, renovated the bathroom and utility room, replaced doors and windows, repainted inside and out, and switched the whole home from gas to fully electric. New floors. New light. New warmth.
Our job was to bring back the light: new oak flooring throughout, bigger openings and new windows, a clean modern fireplace with pellet burner, and a built-in bench to sit beside the fire.
We broke through walls to let the light move freely. The island sits at the centre — work surface and breakfast bar in one, with a pop-up socket hidden flush in the surface. A bold geometric backsplash adds the personality. Same house, with a completely different feeling.
